Pros
Solid company that provides great educational opportunities and experience...
Cons
...but doesn't value the people with their boots on the ground. When Blaise Cooke ran the business, employees were truly taken care of. He knew all 200+ people's names, spouses, kids, life events. When he passed, converted the company to ESOP, and passed the torch to Lombardo, the company went from family friendly to profit above all else. Reimbursements were pared down. Raises whittled away. Even benefits became bare bones for max cost. ESOP is great for employees, but if the executives hold the majority of stock, of course they'll try to maximize profit (and thus returns) on the backs of their workers. Despite having "policies" and "systems", its not implemented fairly across board. It's all who you know in the good ol' boys club.
