Pros

PTO is okay, company has some good benefits, 401K, medical and dental. I like working independently most of the time and I can work at my own pace. Company will sometimes buy lunch for the employees.

Cons

No overtime as company pinches pennies. Harland's idea of a 'promotion' is throwing more work onto you without a pay raise. A large percentage of management, as well as some employees, have been here 15, 20, or even 30 plus years, so they are not open to any new ideas that could generate future revenue. No communication from management, except for a "everything is great" meeting once a year. My manager plays favorites and some co-workers are not pleasant to be around.

Pros

Great company for techs who want to work 10 hours for 8 hours pay. The training for new techs isn't bad if you like 4 months in Omaha. Job Security is good because they can't find anyone to hire so they make up these great reviews. As long as you don't screw up royally, your job is secure.

Cons

Salary and benefits aren't that great for the workload you will be carrying in this area since they are always short staffed. Vacation time is good if you can get it scheduled when you want it. You will be mostly working on old printers and old PC's with some new stuff on occasion. Be prepared to spend lots of time on hold waiting for support to help you out. Don't bother making any suggestions to management to improve anything because they don't listen to their employees. Also, there is no opportunity for advancement unless you want to move to Nebraska.
