Pros

I am struggling to identify any pros that I experienced during my time of employment at Harley.

Cons

Toxic environment, many Harley employees treat "contract employees" terribly. Multiple individuals in leadership positions exhibit corrupt behavior and should be replaced. The company allows "whistle blowers" to be terminated for no cause after reporting inappropriate conduct of other leaders. They allow toxic and inappropriate behavior to thrive within the organization, rather than removing the actual problems. From calling out inappropriate personal relationships within the company, to verbally abusive and bullying behavior reported, to illegal substance usage on company property (beyond typical beers served at company run functions), the whistle blowers have repeatedly been removed in lieu of the problematic individuals. Advise to potential employees: keep your head down and your mouth shut if you witness questionable behavior if you want to maintain employment. Job security does not exist at this company. They will keep you on payroll until they need to "clean house" again and then they'll ax entire departments in 1 swoop because the company's bottom line is hurting so badly... but then hire back all of those same "eliminated" positions within a few months with individuals who have half the experience and demand half the compensation. This is just a taste of the company's dirty laundry, and I only stayed for 6 months. Imagine what else could be shared if I had stayed any longer...

Pros

- Flexibility with schedule allowing for a good work/life balance - Great people to work with - Brand recognition

Cons

-Leadership is in a constant state change which also provides instability of the strategy. - New CEO brings "new" products and promises but if you look back over the past few 5 year strategic plans, very little changes. - Financially struggling to make a profit - Employees are not rewarded based on performance. IF there is a financial increase to base pay everyone gets the same amount. There are no merit increases. And they haven't paid out a bonus in a couple of years.
