I appreciate that you don't undervalue the importance of nuts and drinks! We do work hard to make sure the big things (insurance and pay!) are there for you, but we also recognize that those little things mean a lot too, and we are always looking for ways to make the day better in those little ways ; however, we will likely never wash your coffee mug for you, so if someone has been doing so, please take a moment to thank them!
And while open floor plans can sometimes get noisy, it's worth it for the increased level of collaboration and communication that they provide. Team work and building off each other is extremely important to us, and we expect our managers to interact with their developers regularly. So, yes, they will frequently touch base with you throughout the day-- and we want them to do so!
I don't understand your concern with the CEO and COO being married. That seems irrelevant, especially considering the amount of expertise they each separately bring to the table. We actually have quite a few married couples working for Harmonia, which exemplifies our commitment to family and demonstrates that we are indeed an excellent place to work!
As for being held accountable on work from home days-- we do hold our employees accountable to performance expectations, but we also give them a lot of latitude to do their jobs around their personal schedule. We offer flex-time and telecommuting, but we do ask you to keep in touch with your managers on those days, and will continue to do so. Employees who are performing well do not mind being held accountable.
Have you spoken with your management regarding your other concerns? If not, please do so. You can also reach out directly to hr@harmonia.com. We value our employees and want them to feel they are heard, respected, trusted, and appreciated at all times.
