Pros

Mistreated intelligent Indian people who you can learn a lot from.

Cons

Where do I start from . Harmonia is a place where employees are mistreated , toxic cultural and micro management is appreciated. My heart goes out for Intelligent Indian folks who are treated as slaves because of their visa status dependency (that's why 80% of staff is Indian). You have depress and unhappy people around you all the time which effect your own productivity (that is one of the reasons why I left). I have seen people cry , humiliated in hallways, being told not to laugh even NOT to talk to their coworkers (that is the only place where this happens). You voice has no impact you will be threatened to get fired if you dare to open your mouth. I questioned management ONE time because I didn't like something, I was told that you are an employee and we are the management and you are bound to obey, I was told that I was no longer in good books because I asked a question first time ever during my entire time there. After that I knew that was the time to move on. The worst part is being micro managed , some of the managers even watch who logged off at what time no matter you finished your task or not. (I mean who does that in America). One of my co worker was told to change his personality because he use to joke around (innocent and harmless jokes) , other co workers were forced to work over time which is fine but management told them you employees are salaried so we don't care how long you stay in the office. People quit left and right (which is very demotivating but its fine that happens) but every person who leaves warns other co workers that its time to look for another job (now this is not fine). Some professional, intelligent and experienced people left with in the course of 2- 3 months because they sensed it at first hand (which I didn't) I saw 19 people leave within the period of 1 year (this should be alarming enough for the management that they are doing something wrong).

I do hope you took the time to speak with Human Resources before you left, as we take such concerns seriously; however, if you had spoken with HR regarding these concerns, I expect HR would have shared that it is inappropriate to state that simply because one is Indian they must be on a visa. We are proud of the diversity of our employees, which include Indian- Americans, but we only hire people based on their ability to do their job well. We do hire employees from various countries on an H1B visa, but only about 20% of our workforce fits that demographic. USCIS keeps public records to this effect, so it is easy to verify. The problem with Glassdoor reviews is that it is very hard to get actual facts within context; and, without that, it is difficult to take the steps necessary to determine what problems there truly are and how to resolve them. Regardless, you are correct that management should be showing respect and professionalism to all employees at all times. This is something that we take very seriously, and as such, we appreciate your reminder to take a look at ourselves closely to see if there is any area in which we can improve in this regard. Thank you for your feedback.

Pros

The CEO demonstrates authenticity and a sincere interest in employee growth. Note there was a change in CEO (Saboo is no longer acting CEO)

Cons

*The Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) consistently overrides employee authority and dictates decisions instead of collaborating. *Roles and responsibilities shift without discussion, creating confusion and frustration. *High performers' contributions are minimized or ignored by the CAO. *The CFO promised autonomy at hiring but did not uphold that trust. *Executive leadership communicates poorly and unprofessionally. *Chain of command is unclear, leaving employees caught between two sets of expectations. *Executive leadership does not know how to lead anyone. They were plastered with a nice title and comfy salary. Some communicate/dictate to their teams while others do not communicate at all. Worst team I've ever seen.
