Pros

Harmonia offers a relaxed work environment with strong, experienced teams and many growth opportunities. The company is growing at an astounding rate and shows no signs of slowing despite reduced government spending. All management (including the CEO) has an open door policy and they all care for their employees and wants to see each individual succeed. Management takes a methodical approach to identifying potential problems with processes and incrementally improving them.

Cons

The company is based in Blacksburg, VA and, as most small businesses experience, inter-office team collaboration and communication is sometimes difficult. Management is aware of this and working towards better collaboration between teams in differing locations and hold weekly meetings to discuss business and and demonstrate projects. Harmonia does not offer flex time but does work with individuals on a case-by-case basis.

Pros

The CEO demonstrates authenticity and a sincere interest in employee growth. Note there was a change in CEO (Saboo is no longer acting CEO)

Cons

*The Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) consistently overrides employee authority and dictates decisions instead of collaborating. *Roles and responsibilities shift without discussion, creating confusion and frustration. *High performers' contributions are minimized or ignored by the CAO. *The CFO promised autonomy at hiring but did not uphold that trust. *Executive leadership communicates poorly and unprofessionally. *Chain of command is unclear, leaving employees caught between two sets of expectations. *Executive leadership does not know how to lead anyone. They were plastered with a nice title and comfy salary. Some communicate/dictate to their teams while others do not communicate at all. Worst team I've ever seen.
