Pros

There are some really incredible people who pour their hearts into their work. It was wonderful and refreshing to work with people who truly had a passion for what they were doing. Honest attempts at providing the best quality and service were strived for on a daily basis. Harmons is committed to supporting local organizations and has an amazing customer base that consistently supports fundraising efforts.

Cons

The feeling of big corporation is pushing out the first line and embodiment of the mission statement - "To value our associates . . . " A lot of associates have been experiencing the feeling of not being valued and a clear shift in company culture over the past couple years. Not giving raises or increases for more than 4 years yet expecting more results puts additional pressure on already stressful positions. Many people stay in those positions because of their commitment and loyalty to the company, but if the lack of feeling any real value continues a lot of great people will be lost to better opportunities. Morale also plummets when people are transferred so frequently and dropped from growth and development tracks without explanation.

Pros

None management is horrible, nepotism all over.

Cons

The whole business model. They really treat their leads and managers like crap, while store directors get to assault, sexually assault, and manipulate employees with no repercussions.
