Pros
Some of the college hires are really good for their experience. Many of them also work late nights as a norm. Party culture. Very good place for workaholic.
Cons
Cross-timezone startup pains. Expect to attend late night meetings, work longer hours. Prepare to forgo family time, social life, and hobbies. Odd metrics. They use number of lines of code added, number of files touched, in a commit for evaluating impact. Regular broken build. Take Glassdoor with pinch of salt. Week after joining, hr start nagging about glassdoor. Most reviews are done weeks in, without full picture and also it's easy to find who writes reviews since the number of new employees is not high people less likely to say bad things. Use LinkedIn and talk to past employees who've gone to better places after working here for better idea. If you're a potential candidate interested in this place and working through an offer negotiation, expect that they're lowballing and push hard. Don't fall for cliche like interesting work. Yes, the work is interesting, but at the end of the day, you're selling your time for money and if you're earning 20% more for 40% more hours, is it worth it?
