Pros
Pay was good. Benefits were good. Lots of opportunity for professional growth and FANTASTIC residency program for new grads.
Cons
My particular location was in a very rough area- but I also considered this a pro for the Emergency Center. Management changed a lot throughout 2019-not for the better. Also- this is a teaching hospital (good for new grads- but can be scary if not staffed appropriately- sometimes you'd be working with all new nurses- scary) but overall a great place to work. also- county funded so equipment can scarce at times- also could be a pro because you really learn to be resourceful.
