Pros

Not a lot of overtime. Not micromanaged (but maybe should be until the bad apples are culled).

Cons

Half of staff are aggressive and hostile, other half afraid of them and go along with the behavior to avoid retaliation and disagreements. This results in a very stressful day at work full of anxiety and racial conflicts. Staff allowed to continue bad processes that result in errors on the books and in employee's benefit's accounts. Upper management does not look at proof of errors brought to their attention. H/R confirms the errors exist but there is an "us against them" mentality between the two departments so H/R will not address the issues with Accounting management. Executives not aware of what is going on in their departments because no one tells them about the errors in processing and staff conflicts. Moral is very low due to these issues.

Promotional Opportunity and staff are very approachable

Cons

No standard of work or tools to determine next course of action from historical decisions. Lack giving guidance to ensure the correct business decision is made
