Pros
Very profitable company and cares about safety.
Cons
I worked for Harris Teeter for over 9 years. I started as a department leader and finished my career as a salaried co-manager. Over the course of 9 years I think I can safely say that the company has lost touch with its associates and is now more concerned with the bottom line. Don't get me wrong, I understand the point of every business is to make money, however to do it with an utter and complete lack of concern for your staff is a whole other story. If you're salaried be prepared to work 60 hour work weeks on a regular basis. Be prepared to have your job threatened on a regular basis. I know what you're thinking....This guy was fired. Well I wasn't. I achieved high marks on all my evaluations and was highly thought of. I was just tired of not seeing my family, that's why I left.
