Pros

Very flexible. If you move somewhere it's not that hard to transfer. The responsibilities aren't typically too daunting though they can be (see cons). They do pay you which is nice and most of the management does what it can.

Cons

The working hours are always inconsistent. I've lost EBT because of this. Corporate also likes to cut hours when the store can't afford it. Recently we've had a lot of very busy days and not enough people staffed to work them forcing us to get help from other departments. I've even had to stay a couple hours late (once I was there four hours after my shift was supposed to end). There have also been multiple occasions where I have not gotten a break or a lunch for whatever reason and a couple where I was asked to stay 30 minutes after my shift so they could count it as a lunch. Thirty minutes may not seem like much but I am a student with an internship and my time is stretched as it is.

Pros

Decent people, make connections, pay, and hours are just okay.

Cons

Management sucks. If you fall victim to bullying, nobody cares/does anything. Working there from 16 to now (barely anymore), it was hard to be happy at all about going in when working with a specific manager who constantly nitpicked and talked behind your back.
