Pros
At the time I was really bothered by the amount of pressure put on me on my first day. But I learned a lot of skills that I have been able to transfer into other fields. Break time and lunch breaks were awesome bc it was a grocery store so it was always stocked with my fav snacks although I had to pay for them (btw we ddnt get discounts)
Cons
Not enough hours when I was working there. The only odd experience I had once was I had to push a woman's grocery cart all the way to her car which she decided to park at the very top of the hill. I'm barely 5'2 and had to jump up and down to grab the safety vest before I left out with the whole store watching and laughing bc the vest were up so high. No one helped me, took me a minute to get it down. The woman oddly tried to tip me $.50 of to which I politely declined. I made more than that an hr.
