Cons
The big wigs could care less about "its" employees. Every year we get maybe 20 or 30 cent raises. Their excuse is "we go by the National average for wages"... The cost of living in CT is high. I don't understand why we go by a national average when the cost of living in CT is different from let's say Montana. 20-30 cent raises every year is a slap in the face to every hard working Hartford Healthcare Employee. We are seriously understaffed, overworked and we bust our humps to prove it. This company knows it and doesn't do anything about it except let us know when "our numbers are low and what can we do do keep Hartford Hospital in the positive" what more do you want from us? What more can we give you? Hartford Hospital already sucks the life out of every one of its employees. This company is a turning into a huge corporation and therefore can treat it's employees how it sees fit. It's sad, because we need a job but at the same time when do we say "enough is enough?"
