Pros

✅ Hands-on Production Experience – Operated cameras, lighting, teleprompters, and sound equipment. ✅ Post-Production Skills – Managed stock footage, music, voiceovers, and asset preparation. ✅ Project Coordination – Scheduled shoots, tracked budgets, and managed vendor relations. ✅ Collaboration & Networking – Worked with actors, casting agencies, and cross-functional teams. ✅ Agile & Jira Proficiency – Streamlined workflows in a fast-paced production environment. ✅ Efficiency & Organization – Ensured smooth production, reviewed transcripts, and optimized time management.

Cons

❌ Fast-Paced & High Pressure – Tight deadlines and last-minute changes required quick problem-solving. ❌ Repetitive Tasks – Some administrative work, like tracking invoices and scheduling, felt monotonous. ❌ Limited Creative Input – Focus was more on logistics and execution rather than creative decision-making. ❌ Long & Unpredictable Hours – Shoots and post-production tasks sometimes extended beyond regular hours. ❌ Cross-Departmental Challenges – Coordinating with multiple teams could slow down approvals and workflows. ❌ Budget Constraints – Limited resources sometimes restricted production quality or efficiency. Cons

Extreme disfunction. Every senior leaders opinion matters so that’s 10 different stakeholders you have to account for. Sr leaders are turning more into a mafia than actual leaders. Toxic workplace filled with politics.
