Pros

Interesting projects, opportunity to work with some pretty smart people.

Cons

New grad compensation is decent, but quickly falls below market for experience level. The way to actually get paid here is to become a shareholder, but the process is very opaque and seems to favour the head office in Ontario. If you don't get in as a shareholder, there's no real path to being compensated for skills & experience.

Pros

Very good technical development sessions. Eight hour work days.

Cons

Salaries are heavily biased towards one ethnicity. Gender bias as well. Sweet talk same work but less exposure and definitely less salary. Also caught when a recruiter sent the same job to personal email. No discussion yet on career goals. Offer letter was rude. Asked for a min 2 yr service requirement for a 5k moving cost. 401k is 50% of employee contribution capped at 6%. 6% is employee contribution . Means Company pays only upto 3%. Have to slog 15 yrs for entry level min to get associate status. No 401k until second yr. No overtime. Claim flat structure but no involvement in technical meetings where stamping needs to be done by the said engineer.
