      Pros

      Great manager and great team at my store. Havertys treats their customers really well. If you are good at sales, you can make good money. Loved the people I worked with. In Home design program pays sales consultants full commission.

      Cons

      Retail hours. Work all holidays, late nights, every saturday, every sunday. Commission only. They have increased their minimum quota several times in order to bonus on protection plan sales. Sometimes too many sales staff on the floor which means fewer customers and less commissions for you.

      They provided health insurance and 401K contribution

      Cons

      Very low additional pay for Sales Manager role. COMMISSION only job. Some months I made $14.00, other months I made $8000.00. I was Salesperson on the month many times and still never broke $50K year. LONG HOURS. Many people there work 12 hour days, just to get their sales numbers enough to avoid being fired. Upper management is "Old Boy" mentality.
