Pros

Havertys has a great benefits program, they have decent training and a semi-supportive management structure. Their computer program was easy to use and they kept very good track of everything you did with your time.

Cons

Their quotas are impossibly high for the foot traffic the store I had was, and they changed the pay structure twice while I worked there, making it more difficult to get bonuses and such. The other sales staff - though half male and half female were the most catty and back-stabbing lying cheating bunch of individuals to work with. And the regional manager was an absolute bumbling imbecile.

They provided health insurance and 401K contribution

Cons

Very low additional pay for Sales Manager role. COMMISSION only job. Some months I made $14.00, other months I made $8000.00. I was Salesperson on the month many times and still never broke $50K year. LONG HOURS. Many people there work 12 hour days, just to get their sales numbers enough to avoid being fired. Upper management is "Old Boy" mentality.
