Pros
• Clean work environment • Welders have their own booths • Can listen to music while working (No headphones) • PPE provided with consumable items in organized vending machine style cabinets • 99% of colleges are amazing people. • Work is not entirely repetitive
Cons
• Parking can be difficult since their additional building • Pay is subpar, welding abilities that are more challenging are not compensated, If you can TIG weld aluminum you get paid very similar to the person who doesn't know how. • Last recall the welding templates had no organization and where just thrown onto a rank that separated the four booths (now its three due to the robotic welder) • No gas/fumes ventilation system. • Your voice can go unheard if you have an opinion on change.
