I have been with Hawks Cay for a few years now and have really been enjoying my time working on Duck Key. For the field I am in they have a competitive pay structure and excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays, and employee meals. This is a huge perk for me. My coworkers are great and I find my work both challenging and rewarding.

Cons

I work on a somewhat remote island in the keys. We have high turn over because of this and a lot of time, money and resources are spent on training new people.

Employee kitchen for meals, housing for non-permanent/non american employees, opportunity to network. Tons of experience and great for interns or people who need a second chance.

Cons

housing was for temporaries, j1's, h2B's. Basically if you are a regular american worker, you have to commute FOUR hours to work; they pay you just enough to live far away from them. youll have to find your own roomate and ope they dont skip out on rent. it really is a trap to work there. It ends up costing YOU money to work there.
