Pros

Everyone is pretty nice but that's about it.

Cons

Headlight needs a lot of work to improve. Their training definitely needs work. You should not have somebody who has no experience in mental health give presentations on anxiety & depression. Also, they harass clients. FCC guidelines limits the amount you can call. I was seeing clients being called 2 times a day multiple days in a row. For someone who is looking for mental health services it's already overwhelming, the last thing they want is similar to robocalls. Their intake process is horrendous, and when you ask about any crisis procedures and policies, they don't have many. I didn't find that they actually cared about the clients experience and their mental health. They just want the $$$. The training for the intake specialists you can tell its not as empathetic, but they even teach sales-style phrases to use. Left a really bad taste in my mouth all around. I would not recommend anyone I know looking for services to this company.

Thank you for sharing your experience as an Intake Specialist at Headlight. We regret that our training and client interaction practices did not meet your expectations. Our intake specialists play a crucial role in reducing wait times for our clinicians. Although this may come across with some aspects of sales, it always comes from a place of service so new clients can get scheduled for the care they desperately need. We will continue to review feedback as a tool to improve on the Intake Specialist role.

Pros

Great bonuses and base pay, and really kind staff and people to work with!

Cons

Very sales-like in the need to get clients to sign up for appointments, bonus based on your performance.

Pros

Licensed therapist with a W-2 position

Cons

Company completely misrepresents themselves. They are another virtual company that is only concerned about numbers with no true empathy for their therapist. Schedules are not flexible, micromanaging, client are not tailored to therapist speciality, lots of unpaid work/admin time, pressure to maintain hours. Company will hold client's cancellations against their therapist. Burn out position. No increase in rate and the company will not consider a pay increase yearly even for the increase standard cost of living. Other companies are offering higher rates. Benefits but cost for employees is higher than going through private.
