Pros

The employees in the research department are great and I really liked my supervisors. We went to happy hours which helped us get to know each other. Overall, it's a great team and I am really glad I got to work in that department.

Cons

Other departments dont appreciate the work we do and the pay is very low. The work is tedious and repetitive.

Thank you for taking the time to share you experience as a research associate with us. I understand that communicate between departments can be tough, especially when everyone has a multitude of different tasks they are working on. Unfortunately our departments don’t always get the chance to build relationships with one another outside of collaborating on workload. To promote stronger interdepartmental connections, we host fun events, parties, and volunteer opportunities for all employees to attend and interact within. On the other hand, I am happy to hear that your coworkers and supervisors were great! Our teams work to create a culture of recognition, which it seems was prevalent in your department. I understand that everyone likes to be recognized in different ways. If you have any suggestions for ways we can improve our recognition, I would love to hear from you! I can be reached at Hmintzer@healthadvocate.com Thanks again for providing us with this feedback. We strive to translate any and all feedback into positive action to improve the experiences of our current and future employees. HR Business Partner - Howie Mintzer

Pros

Coworkers help each other when needed

Cons

Pay is terrible for the position. The company provided half an annual raise in 2025 with the promise of the other half in 2026 to align raises with reviews, but then froze all raises. Did not get more than 1.5% raise, but upper management keeps getting promotions with bumps in pay. Metrics are the only thing cared about. Managers micromanage and provide inconsistent and conflicting advice.
