While I am glad that you have mentioned that our knowledge and our technology are pros, I am truly sorry to hear that your experiences with career development, recognition, and workload were not as positive. As you know, in any customer-focused business, we always put the customer and their needs first, which can be overwhelming at times, especially in our busy seasons. However, we are constantly staffing to address our growing business to deliver the best service. In fact, we recently won the Best in Biz Silver Award for Most Customer-Friendly Company of the Year in 2018.
I am also pleased to announce that in attempts to address concerns about development, we recently rolled out an internal “university” wherein our employees can access tens of thousands of eBooks, podcasts, videos, and courses to expand their knowledge on their position as well as future positions they are interested in pursuing. These courses are available through PCs, tablets, and personal cell phones 24/7.
In addition, we are constantly engaging our employees in recognition lunches and events, highlighting member compliments, and writing thank you notes.
