Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave us with this constructive feedback about your current role here at HealthAdvocate.
I am glad that you’ve had great experiences with your colleagues! Each of you works hard to deliver the best service to our members and clients. We truly have an amazing and dedicated team and our members and clients acknowledge the work you all do on a regular basis.
On the other hand, I am sorry to hear that your experiences otherwise seem to be negative. I want you to know that I have escalated your concern to our management team for discussion and review. I understand your frustration with your workload, however, as you’re aware, our commitment to our members and clients is our top priority, this includes delivering competitive results day in and day out. We have stringent deadlines in order to meet the needs of our clients and members. We know it can seem overwhelming at times, but I think you would agree that the work itself is purposeful.
Additionally, in order to deliver on our commitments, we don’t allow a 4-week response time to be set for claims cases. In regards to complaints, we have a process in place for our employees to appeal a complaint and have it escalated for review. Our team then makes a decision on whether the complaint is accurate. If you have concerns about a complaint, please bring it to your supervisor’s attention so it can be reviewed.
I agree that there is an opportunity for us to provide more training updates for claims – things change very quickly and I understand your concern. I do urge you to present your ideas for training to your supervisor or HR so we can delve a bit deeper – it could end up assisting your teammates as well!
Lastly, I see you have also mentioned the lack of merit increase – however every eligible employee was given a merit increase in August 2018. Additionally, we are just now entering our 2019 mid-review period – and additional information regarding merit will be available in the coming months, as usual.
I would like to learn more about your experience here – specifically regarding your comment stating that your manager changes your due dates. Since you are a current employee, I always suggest setting up a time to meet with HR to discuss your concerns. Additionally, I can be reached at HMintzer@healthadvocate.com if that is preferable.
Thanks again for your feedback, I look forward to discussing this further!
