Pros

I think this a great job for those who are looking for work straight out of college! You get paid fairly. I also like how the co-workers are friendly as well. They are also helpful!

Cons

The training is insane! I was not told that I had to an intense training. It reminded me of college. We all have to get an overall average of 80 on the exams. You have absolutely NO time to study unless you want to study outside of the time that you are not getting paid. If you do not pass, employment is not guaranteed.

Good afternoon, Thank you for providing this feedback for us. Our team is one of the best assets of Health Advocate, we strive to create and maintain an environment that is supportive and friendly. I am sorry to hear that you did not pass training. The service that we provide are quite complex, and the training is geared to assist our new hires in succeeding when they are actively providing the service to our members and clients. We have used our training as a standard to ensure that our new hires are equipped with the tools they need to do their job. The training is broken out across multiple weeks depending on the position and is built to provide ample time and opportunities to ask questions, review material, and be set up for success come test-taking time. I would like to hear more about your training experience, you can email me at hmintzer@healthadvocate.com if you’d like. I look forward to hearing from you HR Business Partner – Howie Mintzer

Pros

Coworkers help each other when needed

Cons

Pay is terrible for the position. The company provided half an annual raise in 2025 with the promise of the other half in 2026 to align raises with reviews, but then froze all raises. Did not get more than 1.5% raise, but upper management keeps getting promotions with bumps in pay. Metrics are the only thing cared about. Managers micromanage and provide inconsistent and conflicting advice.
