Pros

Committed, caring staff with strong clinical skills who give the job 110%.

Cons

Company takes on new, large accounts without the staffing or tools (i.e. updated EMR, adequate staffing) to support the workload. Staff are handling mental health crises in a pandemic and provided inadequate breaks, mediocre training and a complete lack of understanding by upper level management. of what the job brings in a pandemic. Care Managers are leaving in droves. Nothing changes. Just new accounts that make a lot of money for the execs (which the front line staff never see). Ironic that the name is "Health Advocate" because there is no concern for the health of the staff. Pay is low. Benefits are mediocre.

Good morning, thanks for sharing your experience with us. I am sorry to hear that your experience has largely been a negative one. The pandemic brought on a lot of stressors throughout all industries – as such EAP demand has increased as well. Our team worked throughout the crisis, providing excellent service to all of our members and clients without skipping a beat. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors Thanks! Howie Mintzer

Pros

Coworkers help each other when needed

Cons

Pay is terrible for the position. The company provided half an annual raise in 2025 with the promise of the other half in 2026 to align raises with reviews, but then froze all raises. Did not get more than 1.5% raise, but upper management keeps getting promotions with bumps in pay. Metrics are the only thing cared about. Managers micromanage and provide inconsistent and conflicting advice.
