Pros

- Good pay for working remote - Plenty of OT opportunities

Cons

- Insane work load: expected to take at least 17 calls a day, most of which are high risk and crisis intervention, emotionally exhausting - Required to work on call shifts for a week at a time on top of your regular schedule: experience on call was very rough, lots of calls, very stressful

Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this valuable feedback about your experience at Health Advocate. I am glad you find the compensation and opportunity for overtime to be great! I understand that the line of work as an EAP Care Manager can be stressful. As a current employee I do suggest you express your concerns with your supervisor regarding scheduling. Thank you, Howard Mintzer, Dir HR Business Partnership

Pros

Coworkers help each other when needed

Cons

Pay is terrible for the position. The company provided half an annual raise in 2025 with the promise of the other half in 2026 to align raises with reviews, but then froze all raises. Did not get more than 1.5% raise, but upper management keeps getting promotions with bumps in pay. Metrics are the only thing cared about. Managers micromanage and provide inconsistent and conflicting advice.
