Pros
A company with an amazing mission. It's a place that you are proud to work for. I see a lot of empowerment in the professional positions; you are not expected to get from point A to point B in a particular way, but in a way that works best for you, which trickles down in a positive way to the members we serve. Flexible work schedules are a plus. The onsite cafe at headquarters is subsidized for a good inexpensive meal. There is free coffee and other hot beverages, and 25 cent soft drinks. Room for advancement and they promote professional and personal growth. Access to the solutions we provide for assistance with your own health and wellness goals, as well as behavioral health.
Cons
Salaries seem to be great for some and subpar for others. There is currently a transition of processes due to being acquired by West Corp, but while the transition is difficult, the changes are positive and will ultimately benefit employees and members alike. Health benefits are expensive like most other places these days - but being tied to the healthcare industry and having a mission to help the lives of others, one would expect the relief of affordable health insurance. Work fluctuates and can be overwhelming at times for many departments.
