Pros

-CEO and executive team are the best leaders I've ever worked with -Culture is a big deal, and the executive team leads the way -Middle management is excellent at helping individual contributors, like myself, to learn, grow, progress and also be held accountable for our work. -There is a high level of transparency in the company, driven by monthly (sometimes more frequent) all-team member meetings. -People I work with are very skilled, but also humble enough to take feedback and improve where possible -Company refers to employees as team members, not family. Which is a far more pragmatic and realistic approach. I think this is a major plus. -Company has a value to 'assume positive intent' which I think helps everyone work harder together for positive outcomes. It's actually something I've incorporated in my personal live and I've seen tremendous improvement in my social and personal interactions as well. -telecommuting is made possible with excellent tech. Management has really committed to make working from home as seamless as working from the office. Excellent for time when staying home is necessary/more convenient. -internal hiring is a major focus so there is lots of opportunity to move/advance as the company continues to grow rapidly.

Cons

truthfully not cons, just something to be aware of: -being a public company, there are very real deadlines. This can create very busy times and late nights -there is talent all around you. Which means you will be expected to provide high quality work all the time. No slacking!

Pros

Great Talent & Culture: The people here are highly capable, collaborative, and committed to helping each other succeed. The partnership between onshore and offshore teams works well and is a real strength. There’s a culture of grit and stability that has helped the company navigate multiple major transitions over the years. Mission-Critical Engineering: The work involves complex data infrastructure that requires deep technical expertise. It can be demanding, but seeing these systems run successfully and support real-world operations is consistently rewarding.

Cons

Wage Compression and Retention Risk: Compensation for tenured and high-performing staff has not kept pace with the market for specialized data engineering and support leadership. In practice, tenure can feel undervalued or even penalized. This creates risk around losing institutional knowledge and operational continuity. Stagnant Career Progression: Contrary to stated expectations, strong performance ratings do not consistently translate into meaningful, market-aligned compensation growth. The process of how compensation is benchmarked lacks clarity in practice, obscuring how compensation decisions are made and what is required to advance.
