While I'll list cons, these themes are by no means isolated to Health Catalyst.
1) The cultural values, respect for team members, and humbleness is not systemic throughout the organization as leadership assumes. Some mid-level managers exhibit selfish, boastful, disrespectful behavior when left unsupervised.
2) Technically-skilled team members are promoted into HR-manager roles when they have no real skills to be leading a team.
3) People are allowed to change roles frequently, often moving from a higher pay grade into a lower pay grade, and instead of putting the individual in the level that aligns with their skillset, they are put into a level that corresponds to their salary. As a result, there are individuals with low skills in high-level roles. This doesn't feel right to the staff in the same role with higher skills but at a lower level - and thus lower pay - who haven't been changing roles.
