Pros
Health Fidelity grew very rapidly during my tenure and had it's share of growing pains, but through it all there was always a great team culture where people were happy to help each other and everyone was working towards a common goal. Importantly for any startup, Health Fidelity's solutions are unique in the market, making it's business proposition strong and the company well-positioned for growth in the future. Along the way, management has reacted quickly and effectively to changes in the market, and has pursued new opportunities to increase it's addressable market while leveraging core competencies, The leadership team is full of experienced startup founders and executives and it shows. The benefits are truly excellent, which I did not fully appreciate until I moved away from Silicon Valley a couple years go.
Cons
Any startup, including Health Fidelity, goes through periods of upheaval as the organization adjusts its strategy to adjust to changing market dynamics or to pursue new opportunities. This can create some stress on the team, but HR and the management team cares about it's employees and does it's best to manage these transitions. In my opinion the benefit of working in a fast-paced environment, building truly new products and solutions at the cutting edge of healthcare tech makes the experience overall a very positive one.
