Pros

Experience, hiring process, Benefits, cafeteria discounts.

Cons

Pay is too low for everything LPN’s do (21$), dangerous patient to staff nursing ratios, hostile work environment, toxic coworkers, ridiculous mangers who think less of you because you aren’t an RN. I also went went without a lunch on a 13 hour shift, on a good day I would use the bathroom at least 1x.

Pros

Great ICU team. A few non welcoming cliquey girls, but 75% will feel like family

Cons

3:1 ratio in an ICU should never happen, or if it literally has to, be very rare. It happens weekly here. Also get floated to PCU and med surg often
