New grads: most units are staffed with predominantly new nurses who aren’t trained properly and don’t know how poor the working conditions are. 5. Punitive, harsh, point system. 6. Under market pay value 7. Getting rid of incentive shifts, doing bonus contracts because of course that’s cheaper for the hospital. Imo, If you’re willing to accept poor working conditions and have anxiety over losing your license, or worse be criminally liable, this is the perfect place to work.
