Toxic and unprofessional work environment. Poor communication among colleagues. Weak training program. Bullying is a problem. A hardworking tech will burn out trying to keep the lab functioning while other techs sit and do administrative work or socialize while work needs to be done. Not good for patient care. And definitely not good for the tech who will eventually burn out due to heavy work load and lack of support. Was told by management that lab culture had always been this way. This is not true. That was an excuse for her poor management. I was also told to lie to lab administrators about having our daily huddles even though we never had them.
