Pros
I've worked as an audiologist for over 30yrs and can say that HealthDrive is one of the best employers I've ever worked for. Helping those in nursing facilities hear better has been very rewarding and HealthDrive works hard to give providers everything they need to do the job. It's a relaxed team atmosphere, we all work together, from scheduling, documentation, management, up to CEO level to provide nursing home patients with the best quality of care. Working autonomously with a team of qualified, caring people to assist. The work schedule is flexible, offers a great life-work balance. It's been a wonderful place to work while raising a family, being able to be home by the time they got home from school was a blessing.
Cons
Working independently means providers don't have the face-to-face time with one another, though we do "meet" via conference calls on a quarterly basis.
