Pros

- Team members often collaborate well - Culture of understanding amongst engineers - Relevant training is available about twice a year

Cons

- Upper management doesn't concern itself with technical debt - Staffing reductions and the use of near shore contractors to reduce cost - Questionable adherence to data privacy due to constant fires - Short planning scope due to legacy code no longer being fully understood by Product or assigned engineers - Upper leadership prescribes solutions without understanding impact - Managers are disempowered to assist engineers due to outsized workloads.

Pros

From the very beginning, the experience felt welcoming, thoughtful, and well organized. The recruitment process was smooth and informative, and every interview felt like a genuine opportunity to have real conversations and build meaningful connections. The team was incredibly supportive throughout both hiring and onboarding, which made the transition feel seamless. A great example of the company’s culture is Trailhead, an experience designed to bring new hires together early on and help them connect, learn, and feel part of the organization right away. It’s clear there is a lot of intention behind how employees are supported, especially when it comes to building connection from day one.

Cons

Still early in my time here, but no major cons to note so far.
