Healhmarkets provides a way for me to be in business for myself, but not by myself. I am surrounded by smart and helpful teammates, but I have the flexibility to really live my life. I earn a very good living without having to give up time with friends and family. HealthMarkets works with all the best carriers and I have all the tools I need to help my clients. Having the flexibility and tools to capitalize on this amazing health insurance opportunity is such a blessing. There is no cap to what I can achieve. I feel I am in the right place at the right time.
Cons
This job is not for everyone. It requires someone who is confident, self motivated, willing to learn, and able to think on their feet. A person who is successful in this job is an optimist who makes things happen and thrives in chaos. The good news is agents control their income...but that can also be the bad news.
