Pros

Competitive salary, not directly managed.

Cons

This is absolutely the most unethical company I have ever come across. Pay varies greatly among employees at the same facility with the same job. There is no formal training. District managers make empty promises to administrators and you are stuck to deal with them wondering where they are. District managers are uneducated and often unavailable. There is no support and you are expected to work as much as possible to get the job done. The food quality is embarrassing. Benefits are a joke. They flaunt their "benefit package", yet the health insurance is unaffordable on their pay. PTO is a joke. 5 days after a year. This company will use you for whatever is convenient for them with no employee appreciation. They are primarily concerned with getting new accounts that they are often scrambling for employees to fill positions. They offer no training to new account managers and then discipline them when they are doing something they were never taught to do wrong. Just stay away.

Pros

coming to work and greeting residents and some of the staff, that helps me through the day, laughing and joking around, just so I don't think about the negativity that comes with working for hcsg and working in a autumn lake building

Cons

working understaffed meaning 3 and half housekeepers, is not gonna cut it and people go on vacation or sick or just off.. the slack is passed down on us and more so on the manager, the company culture uses him and he can never take time off because he's filling in 100 percent of the time.
