Pros

Easy mind less job that does not take any skill.

Cons

Low pay with no pay advancement. They ask you to help out and do more but do not pay more for extra work. Expect you to work off the clock so they do not have to pay over time. No benefits. Was told in the interview that after 90 days there would be benefits. After 90 days found out that the medical benefits were 100% paid by employee. The cost of medical benefits was about half of my pay. There is no 401K. There is high turn over in managers. Most managers are only in the company 1 or 2 years. You are expected to use your personal phone and computer for business.

Pros

coming to work and greeting residents and some of the staff, that helps me through the day, laughing and joking around, just so I don't think about the negativity that comes with working for hcsg and working in a autumn lake building

Cons

working understaffed meaning 3 and half housekeepers, is not gonna cut it and people go on vacation or sick or just off.. the slack is passed down on us and more so on the manager, the company culture uses him and he can never take time off because he's filling in 100 percent of the time.
