Burning Out. - Registered Dietitian Healthcare Services Group Employee Review

Pros

-Flexible schedule -No micromanagement -Autonomy (if you like this) -Supportive regional RD

Cons

-I noticed that often times, staff get over worked and those who remain push hard and do more work to keep company afloat, but the company often times doesn't praise or reward their staff (from what I've seen there's no thank you from higher management, no bonus). Then those who pushed hard end up either getting bitter or leaving the company. -Benefits aren't great. -If you do stick it out in this company, likely you'll get overworked/stressed without much appreciation (maybe verbal from regional RD, but that's about it).

Pros

coming to work and greeting residents and some of the staff, that helps me through the day, laughing and joking around, just so I don't think about the negativity that comes with working for hcsg and working in a autumn lake building

Cons

working understaffed meaning 3 and half housekeepers, is not gonna cut it and people go on vacation or sick or just off.. the slack is passed down on us and more so on the manager, the company culture uses him and he can never take time off because he's filling in 100 percent of the time.
