Pros

Autonomy, work-life balance, and promotional opportunities - for management only.

Cons

Little middle/upper management support, low pay, unacceptable benefits, high turnover, limited middle management communication (unless something bad is happening), no raise potential (aside from being promoted), inconsistent training, low morale at every level, low-quality supplies, inconsistent quality control expectations, bad industry reputation, no overtime available to hourly employees, ALL full-time, non-management hourly employees can make no more than $15,000 per year and the company employees over 40,000 hourly employees.

Pros

coming to work and greeting residents and some of the staff, that helps me through the day, laughing and joking around, just so I don't think about the negativity that comes with working for hcsg and working in a autumn lake building

Cons

working understaffed meaning 3 and half housekeepers, is not gonna cut it and people go on vacation or sick or just off.. the slack is passed down on us and more so on the manager, the company culture uses him and he can never take time off because he's filling in 100 percent of the time.
