- Compensation is great, the other downfalls probably being why it's so high.
Cons
- Insurance coverage is terrible, think that through if your family has to go under your insurance coverage. - Huge amounts of micromanaging and surveillance, you are constantly reminded by management that everything is monitored, like a threat. How long you were on a call, what you did after the call, how productive were you from that call. How long were the gaps between calls productivity trends day by day. The amount of work you have contributed via each software portal. Does that sound like a happy working environment? I would advise having a position in the corporation either away from direct patient communication or go somewhere else. Countless of workers are very uneasy about these methods and produce a constant feeling of fear of anxiety and fear of what might your manager say about your productivity on a day to day basis...and we are clinicians.
