The pay is not great, especially if you’ve been at the company for a while. Upper management is usually out of touch with what “regular” employees are working on. There’s a constant disconnect, and the company’s goals are not transparent. Also note that while you may work from home, there’s a lack of flexibility in working from anywhere else. You have to work at your home location.
