Pros
Pros: Great pay, good coworkers, PTO, fully remote
Cons
This job was chaotic, high-stress, and unfulfilling. Micromanagement was extreme, with every minute of your day scrutinized to hit unrealistic goals and metrics. You had to manually calculate performance metrics, while team leaders often reported inaccurate numbers, making it hard to know where you stood. Every decision required middle management approval, leaving no room for autonomy. There was no work-life balance, as you were constantly pressured to take on more tasks, even when overloaded. Processes were disorganized, with unclear directives and pushback from other departments. Leadership was unsupportive, leaving you to deal with issues on your own. The constantly rising expectations made it impossible to maintain momentum, creating a toxic, burnout-prone environment. I wouldn’t recommend this job if you value your mental or physical health. Keep micromanaging your best employees, and they'll continue to leave.
