Pros
I really appreciate the departmental infrastructure that offers in depth program support, e.g. CQI, Compliance, the Training Institute etc. The wrap around support and easy access to answers to questions is top notch. I also appreciate the teamwork amongst colleagues. Everyone I have dealt with is really generous with their time and work. They have all so readily shared resources that they have personally worked hard on to run their own programs. Lastly, another shout out to the Learning Institute, all the training opportunities, and the amazing annual conference, it's impressive. And Helio Health clearly has a good reputation with OASAS with is really refreshing, and I know that that the relationship has been thoughtfully cultivated and maintained.
Cons
I would like a flexible spending account option so I could keep the PPO plan and not have to move to the high deductible plan to utilize the HSA. It's a barrier to needed tax benefits, and every bit really helps. Other optional benefits like guardian critical illness, and disability, etc. would be wonderful. I would also appreciate more PTO, even starting the first year of employment. In a previous workplace, management got 240 of PTO hours frontloaded, available to use after 3 months. It was a wonderful perk.
