Pros

Semi international Environment with the majority of Germans, French and Italians. With very few other internationals from other regions. Performance oriented

Cons

Severe Budget cuts, very limited Investments into People development, very narrow minded Management with short-terms Strategy Targets. Very traditional in Terms of Marketing and top-down style of innovations and communication campaigns roll-out. Very slow and heavy machine of internal processes. No streamlined process of Information sharing, no transparency. Big Budget cuts for employees Trainings, ban of Business trips, Marketing Budget cuts each quarter. Company is optimizing ist spendings in order to invest into such Projects like Global Supply Chain organizations in Amsterdam and Singapore.Massive growth of Shared Service Centres. Everything is all about costs cuts and optimizations. No Motivation, no Inspiration for employees.

Pros

I’ve been with Henkel for over 5 years. I’ve been giving many opportunities to work on new projects and make an impact. Plus, it is amazing to see how the company continues to invest in providing a strong employee experience and growth opportunities. I truly love working here and have some of the most inspiring, talented team members.

Cons

Henkel is a global corporation, which sometimes leads to processes being complex and taking longer than anticipated. However, the company is really embracing an “impact over perfection” mindset to support being more agile, and it is working!
