Pros

They did give a raise this year after several years without. Benefits are ok but on the downslide.

Cons

Management - directors, site directors and above are unengaged, they are so detached it will be the downfall of the system especially for the medical group. They surround themselves with yes people and some of the most tyrannical managers around. Some employees live in fear because they need their jobs. Any contrarian ideas are quickly dismissed. They hire RNs for almost all positions even in purchasing. Raises are poor, except for RNs who get as much as 4x the other employees. 2% vs. as much as 8% this year.

Pros

Friendly, safe and trusting environment, leaders that listen, lots of opportunities for training and development.

Cons

Inconsistent between different hospitals and leaders. Health insurance is awful and expensive. Bonuses only go to leaders, even though frontline staff are doing the actual work.
