Pros
The leniency for a work/life balance is wonderful! Other than entry level there is great autonomy if you have the right boss. There are some opportunities for advancement
Cons
Compensation is significantly below local/ national averages. The health insurance used to offset (to a degree) the pay but it has also deteriorated. It is mostly run by people with accountant backgrounds who do not invest in the company. They create bandages to paste over other bandages to fix products/processes/procedures.
