Pros
A lot of the people here are extremely smart. You will run into a few that are off but for the most part a lot are spot on. If you can survive at least 2 years with Hensel Phelps, You are practically employable everywhere. Because everyone know that Hensel Phelps people are well trained.
Cons
Its not good for a family lifestyle. Financially, you will be just above broke but if you can stick it out for a few year, I think it would be worth it. Also if you can play within the "Good ol' boy" system, then this is the company just for you. Lastly, Hensel Phelps is known for great training just not good leadership. A lot of the higher ups were fast tracked through the system because so many people were quitting and getting fired. Therefore they lack some of the experience in there current job descriptions and have refused to train there replacement because they have developed the mentality of every man for themselves. So I could see where if use to be a family environment but that is diminishing quickly.
