Pros
- you are empowered as an HP employee to facilitate and make decisions to support the project - challenging projects that lead to educational and professional development - well rounded work environment supported by a structured field and office experience
Cons
- company structure is rigid and slow to change ie: promotions, cm software, professional career path, and general project processes - lots of process structure but confusing and at times unclear direction in roles - salary is not competitive until you receive employee owned stock - can be difficult to leave the company once you have employee stock as this can lead to walking away from a substantial amount of money after investing years of service. (can feel trapped)
